This is not a site promoting world peace, climate change or aimed at fighting any particular disease.  There are many such sites and causes out there, some of which I’m sure do a lot of good, but this is not one of them. This site is quite simply an attempt to document the thoughts and observations of our family travels and we embark on adventures from time to time around the world.  We love to travel and see what we haven’t yet seen be it people, places or things.  And as much as we may fall in love with any one place, it pains us to visit the same place twice even if there may have been something we missed.

We have been fortunate lately to have been able to travel regularly and at times for extended periods like we did during the summers of 2007 and 2008 as we drove through all 48 states of the lower US.  In 2009 we are moving our family base to Ljubljana, Slovenia, the geographic center of Europe (map below for those who don’t know where it is or have never heard of it!).  We hope that this will bring us more opportunities to see parts of the world yet unseen.
